Ms. Patterson joined WRA Fine & Performing Arts Department as a dance instructor in 2010. A dancer since the age of 3, Ms. Patterson has taught professionally for more than a decade. Ms. Patterson has pursued and has experience in teaching a variety of dance disciplines, including ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap and hip-hop. She has taught at the Fairmount Center for the Arts, Kent State University and Ohio State University’s Mansfield Campus.
Ms. Patterson and the students continue to work on improving and expanding the WRA Dance Program. Each new school year gives opportunity for more training, growth, and development.
Ms. Patterson has been a resident of Hudson, Ohio, for the majority of her life. She lives off-campus. She enjoys teaching for Western Reserve Academy and sharing her experience and her passion of dance with the students.
